Grommash "Grom" Hellscream was a legendary Orc warrior and chieftain of the Warsong clan, hailing from the planet Draenor. He is a figure both revered and reviled in Orcish history due to his pivotal roles in both the Orcs' corruption by the Burning Legion and their eventual liberation.
Grommash initially resisted Gul'dan's influence, but ultimately succumbed to the bloodlust induced by drinking the blood of Mannoroth the Destructor. This act bound the Orcs to the Legion and initiated their invasion of Azeroth. He led the Warsong clan with unmatched ferocity during the First and Second Wars.
Later, under Thrall's leadership, Grommash played a crucial role in the Horde's redemption. He was instrumental in the fight against the Burning Legion in Kalimdor. In a final act of sacrifice, Grommash killed Mannoroth, freeing the Orcs from the demonic curse. He died a hero, ensuring his people's future and cementing his legacy as a complex and ultimately noble figure.
